many和much都是“許多”的意思，只是many形容可數(shù)名詞（例如：many oranges 許多橘子）much形容不可數(shù)名詞（例如：much milk 許多牛奶）。因此，many和much的比較級(jí)都是more，最高級(jí)都是much。

There are many books. 這有許多書(shū)。

=>There are more books than before. 這的書(shū)比以前多。

=>He has the most books in the class.他的書(shū)在全班最多。
