soil和earth的區(qū)別

1、soil意為：“泥土、土壤”，尤指生長植物的土地?；颉皣?、國土”。

The trees have rooted in the rich soil.

樹木在肥沃的土壤里已經(jīng)扎根。

It was the first time we had set foot on foreign/French/American soil (= gone to a foreign country/France/America).

那是我們第一次踏上異國/法國/美國的土地。

　2、　earth意為：“地球、大地”，“泥土、土壤”。

The earth takes approximately 365 and 1/4 days to go round the sun.

地球圍繞太陽運(yùn)轉(zhuǎn)一周大約需要365又1/4天。

Spring rains and warm sunlight quickened the earth.

春雨和溫暖的陽光使大地復(fù)蘇了。
