指代不同、側(cè)重點(diǎn)不同、引證用法不同等。in order to：為了，以便。so as to：為使.in order to：只引導(dǎo)目的狀語，可以置于句首或句末。so as to只能置于句末，可以與in order to互換，但表示“以致于”，即引導(dǎo)結(jié)果狀語時，則不能互換。

in order to和so as to的區(qū)別

1、in order to：in order to的意思是“以…為目的”，在句中作狀語，后接動詞原形；而in order that的意思是“以便”“以至于”，在句中引導(dǎo)狀語從句。

2、so as to：so.as結(jié)構(gòu)則多用于書面語，側(cè)重“像…那樣”。
